Name Warding is the process I teach for covering your name under the authority of Jesus… so that you can be fully seen, fully expressed, and completely free, and let the mouths say what they say. Cover My Name
Two in the afternoon.
You are having a perfectly good day. The work is flowing, the coffee was good, you finally posted the thing you had been holding for three weeks… and then, somewhere around two in the afternoon, there is a heaviness in your chest that was not there a minute ago. A thought that is not yours. A wave of smallness, of doubt, of who do you think you are, that came out of absolutely nowhere, and you cannot figure out where it is coming from.
I will tell you where it is coming from. It is VERY FREQUENTLY your name in somebody’s mouth. The whisper in the family group chat. The ex-friend who found something negative to say about you to a mutual friend. Your mother telling your aunt that she is “worried about you since you started all of this.” The woman in your industry who talked about you behind your back this morning. Your energy field receives all of it, because we are all connected to the same grid around this earth, and your name is how the grid finds you.
And this is the actual reason you flinch before you post, before you raise the price, before you say the true sentence at the dinner table. Your nervous system is not afraid of rejection in some vague way. It is afraid of being ADDRESSED. It is afraid of your name being in mouths you cannot control. So you stay small, because a small woman’s name stays out of mouths… and that feels like safety. It is just silence. And the price of that silence is your entire life.
You have tried to protect yourself. Here is why it could not hold.
Staying small
If you never post the brave thing, nobody is saying your name. It works… the way a cage works. You bought quiet with your calling, and you called it humility.
Your own energy
White light. Visualizing a shield. Keeping your vibration high. You are protected exactly as far as your own authority reaches, which is not very far on the day you are exhausted, sick, grieving, or just hung up from your mother.
The New Age version
Sigils. Your name in the freezer. Mirror spells, binding spells, cord cutting with an imaginary sword. Some of it produces results. All of it opens a doorway, and you do not know what walked through it to give you that result.
Praying harder in the church that wounded you
You were told that meek means mouse, and that a good woman keeps her name out of mouths. That was never what Jesus taught, and the religious spirit that told you so was its own open doorway.
You were looking for protection, and you looked in the places where it was misrepresented to you. That is understandable. Jesus knows it. This guide is the course correction.
Your name is a frequency. This is what actually covers it.
In Scripture, the name IS the person. Mary Magdalene stood at the tomb looking straight at the risen Christ and thought she was looking at the gardener… until Jesus said one word. Mary. Just her name. And she knew. Your name is a word that, in the right mouth, wakes you up. And in the wrong mouth, with the wrong spirit behind it, it is the word that puts you back to sleep. Mary, don’t do this. Catherine, who do you think you are? Jennifer, be careful. The spell always arrives with your name on the front of it.
Words are instruction sets. When someone speaks your name attached to envy, or false concern, or a prayer that is really a verdict, they are broadcasting an instruction into the field with your coordinates on it… and if your name is unguarded, it lands. Name warding takes your name out of circulation. It places it where it was always meant to be: under the authority of the name that is above every name, the name every knee bows to, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. Your energy cannot hold that. Your intent cannot hold that. A spirit you cannot vet will charge you for it. Jesus holds it, and Jesus handed you the authority to stand there.
When your name is covered, people can say whatever they want. They fill out the envelope, they put it in the mail, and it comes straight back. Return to sender. You do not have to do anything. It happens FOR you. And you are not cursing anyone to get there… you bless the person whose mouth was used, and you command the spirit that was using it, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, exactly the way Peter did at the gate and Paul did in Philippi and the exorcists of the Church have done for centuries. This is not a meditation. It is a declaration, spoken out loud, in your own voice.
Name warding is not a separate practice from full expression. It IS full expression… applied to the one place the unexpressed woman is most afraid of. Other people’s mouths.

I am not a coach.
I am a spiritual teacher and medicine woman, a former Wall Street M&A attorney at Skadden Arps who walked away from that life after 9/11, and the founder of an eight-figure certification school I built from scratch. Yes. I write “her” throughout because this lands hardest on women, and the authority is identical. Change the pronouns and speak it.

Your name is not floating around loose in the world, available to any spirit, any gossip, any worried relative, any hostile comment section. It is written in heaven. It can be covered. And when it is, you are free… truly free… to be as loud, as visible, as bold, as expressed, as YOU as God actually designed you to be. Not the palatable version. Not the version that keeps everyone comfortable. The real one.
So let them talk. Let your name be in their mouths. Let them fill out the envelope and send it. It will not be delivered. It will hit the blood of Christ and fall. And you will be somewhere out there, fully expressed, fully seen, fully free… living as the warhorse you were always meant to be.
