The In Between…
Where the land meets the sky
Where the sun touches the ocean
The calm before the storm
The rainbow after the rain
Where the heart collides with the soul
Where hope is born while words cannot be spoken
It was so dark…my eyes could not see. My heart was so numb. But in between, my soul held an energy that unconditionally reassured me there was more to life than this.
The feeling in between that saved my life.
That glimmer of hope, sliver of love, slice of faith, flash of light that exists in the in between.
A cry for help, a prayer for answers. Please God, define this in between, because I do not feel worthy of such hope.
I was shown a teacher who defined the in between in words.
Her name is Liana Shanti.
The embodiment of hope
Unconditional love in the flesh
Speaker of Divine words
And that was the day my weary heart could rest, my tired eyes dried, my weak hands transformed, and my soul ignited.
Sometimes it just takes that one person. And she’s that person. She’s my in between. The catalyst between surviving and thriving. The turning point. The lighthouse. The compass.
I will never be the same. She has taught me how I am truly worthy. And if optimal mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health is wrong, I never want to be right.
Liana, thank you for teaching me about above, below, and everything in between.
I will stand with God, in service, unafraid, as a leader in between, where the unknown will be known, and hope will be defined.
